FAQ

CAN I COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION?

Yes of course you can!
We offer complimentary consultations for all of our clients, so you if you’re having a colour correction or unsure of what you would like to do with your hair, feel free to give us a call and we can arrange a consultation for you.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE?

Depending on your hair and what you’d like to get done, appointment times will vary. We usually allow 3 hours for a colour and cut, however if your hair is long and thick please let us know prior to your appointment so we can allow more time.

DO I NEED TO CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT?

3 days before your appointment we will send you a confirmation text.
If you don’t respond within 24 hours unfortunately we will have to cancel your appointment as we have a waiting list.

SHOULD I BRING INSPIRATION PHOTOS?

Yes you definitely should! We love seeing inspiration photos so we can be on the same page with you on what you want to achieve with your hair.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

Our price list located on our online booking platform are starting prices. Depending on your length and thickness, prices will be adjusted accordingly.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

We require a $50 deposit which will be deducted off of your final service price.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand that life can be unpredictable and you may need to reschedule your appointment at the last minute. Cancellations are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I GET THERE?

Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. This allows plenty of time for
your stylist to get you set-up for your appointment.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

If you’re running late please contact the salon so we can let your stylist know. If you’re running more than 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule your appointment, but we will try our best to accommodate you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T TURN UP TO MY APPOINTMENT?

If you do not turn up to your appointment you will lose your $50 deposit. Future bookings made with us may require a percentage of the cost to be paid prior to your appointment. However, we understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control and we will use our discretion to assess each case.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

There is parking located behind the salon which you can access via Wilkinson St, with a time limit of one and a half hours. There is also parking behind the back of the Duke of Edinburgh pub which is all day.

SHOULD I REBOOK?

Yes we recommended booking your next appointment 6-8 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Yes, we love dogs! We have a salon dog, he is a Toy Cavoodle named Simon. He loves
making new friends!

WHAT PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE ON MY HAIR AT HOME?

We recommend using salon grade shampoo and conditioner to ensure the longevity of your colour. If you have been using supermarket products please let us know prior to your appointment, as this could have adverse effects on the integrity of your hair and therefore impact the final result of your colour.

DO YOU DO SHORT HAIRCUTS?

Instead of focusing on all aspects of hairdressing, we have to decided to make colour our main focus. We do haircuts as well, but only   medium to long. If you do have short hair we know of many experienced hairdressers in the Brunswick area who we can refer you to, so don’t hesitate to ask.

MY HAIR ISN’T QUITE WHAT I EXPECTED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if your hair hasn’t turned out the way you wanted it to, however we do need to know within two weeks of your appointment. We will do our best to meet your needs, although we do require that you use salon grade shampoo and conditioner after your service to ensure that you meet the requirements for a re-do.
